My Design Process

Discover & Inquire

The exploration phase allows me to understand the full context of what problem needs to be solved. I believe in actionable research rooted in the thoroughness of academic research to understand user needs and behaviour, as well as product market fit. Shareholder reports, customer reviews, company history, KPIs, OKRs, marketing strategy, and industry trends are a sampling of data sources used to understand this context.

Define & Analyze

An analysis of all data found in the explorative phase indicates if my problem solving is on the right track. Drawing the correct conclusions is critical in ensuring the final solution is wanted and needed by users, aligns with company strategy, and fits the market space. Leading with empathy, universal design and accessibility are a critical component of my design process.

Develop & Test

Rapid prototyping and wire-framing allows for immediate feedback before any attachments are formed to bad solutions. I work quickly to build a testable prototype and iterate improved solutions based on user feedback.
